This is an excellent store. When we first moved her (4 yrs ago) I did my major shopping in Duncan or Victoria, and only interim shopping in town. But now I buy most of my groceries right here in town. Regular prices can be higher than the box stores but they have very good sales so I don't over-pay. I am careful about produce quality and stale-dated goods wherever I shop, and haven't had a problem here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe is great. Last, but not least, Country Grocer is a VERY good corporate citizen!

The only grocery store in Lake Cowichan, very clean, well stocked, fresh produce, cafe is good as well
